Cadre of Nepal Communist Party padlocks local level

The cadres of Nepal Communist Party led by Netra Bikram Chand have padlocked all the local levels office in Khandchakra Municipality on July 7.

The party said that all local levels were padlocked in protest of increasing corruption, anomalies in appointing staffs and political intervention. The party has released press statement regarding the reason of padlocking.

 District secretary Mani Lal Aidi of the party said that the offices were padlocked for indefinite period in protest.

The party has padlocked nine local level and 82 wards according to the local representatives.

However, DSP Binod Sharma of District Police Office said that none of the offices are padlocked.
