Banned CPN Cadres Arrested
Police have arrested Durga Bahadur Bohora, 36, of Narharinath Rural Municipality-9 and Padma Bahadur Pun, 38, of Jajarkot Bheri Municipality-2 on January 4, 2021.
DSP Chakra Bahadur Shah of the District Police Office informed the INSEC representative that a team deployed by the District Police Office arrested two cadres from Narharinath Rural Municipality-9 with explosives on the basis of information about the activities of the banned CPN (Maoist).
According to DSP Shah, they had a semi-finished wooden gun, a pressure cooker bomb, wire, detonator, cracker, bomb-making socket, battery charger, safety fuse, sulphur, soda, Nippo light, wire cutter, telephone wire, and cape. Police have seized the explosives including aluminium.
The health examination of the accused was conducted at the District Hospital, Kalikot on January 4, said Dr. Bhishma Pokhrel, Health Service Manager.
