Banned Communist Party of Nepal (CPN)’s Cadres Arrested
Police has arrested two cadres of the banned CPN. Central Member of the Student Union of the banned CPN; Mukunda Shrestha (29), resident of Bahrabise Municipality- 3 Dharpa and banned CPN’s Sindhupalchowk District in-charge; Lekh Raj Gajmer (35), resident of Chauri Deurali Rural Municipality- 5. They were arrested on 20 February 2020 from Sangachok Gadi Municipality-8.
They were handed over to the police by the locals after both tried to stay forcefully in a family of the Dalit community. Case of Public Misbehave was filed against them and both were kept in police custody for further investigation, said Information Officer; DSP Madhav Prasad Kafle. Their health checkup was conducted on 21 February at the Chautara Hospital.
