Banned Communist Party Cadre Arrested
Police have arrested 42-year-old Kishor Menyangbo of Pathibhara Wangwarak Rural Municipality-2 of the banned Communist Party of Nepal led by Netra Bikram Chand (Biplava) on September 10.
District Secretary Menyangbo was arrested from Sinwa in Faktanglung Rural Municipality-3, Linkhim, said DSP Mahendra Shrestha in a meeting with INSEC representatives.
Menyangbo is accused of detonating a bomb at Bhanujan Secondary School in Fungling Municipality-4 and he was remanded in custody for trial after failing to post bail of Rs 20,000 fixed by the district court in the same case.
A medical examination of Menyangbolai has been conducted at the district hospital on September 12.
