AWC Condemns controversial statement of Bal Krishna Dhungel
The Accountability Watch Committee (AWC) has condemned on the apathy shown by the government and police on a very controversial public statement by “absconding convict” Bal Krishna Dhungel during a program in Saipu of Ramechhap district on March 12.
” It is a mockery of democracy and rule of law not to bring Dhungel in to legal boundary who was convicted by the Supreme Court in his involvement on killing Ujjan Kumar Shrestha in 2010 January 3″, the statement signed by the coordinator Charan Prasai states.
The convict Dhungel to be seen in public program with police and high level official is simply a mockery of rule of law of the country, the statement says.
