Assistant Sub-Inspector Accused of Killing Arrested
Surkhet Police have arrested ASI Sher Singh Dhami, 42, on the accusation of killing. He was arrested on March 6, 2022.
According to SP Padma Bahadur Bista of the District Police Office, Surkhet, ASI Dhami, who is also in-charge of the Subbakuna Police Check Post in Birendranagar, has been arrested. Surkhet District Court has extended the period of investigation after his arrest.
A complaint was filed against ASI Dhami accusing him of beating and killing Krishna Hamal of Tilagufa Municipality-3 in Kalikot. Hamal was coming to Surkhet from Nepalgunj in a mini truck (Bhe 1 Ka 922). The complaint was filed by Hirachandra Hamal, the father of the deceased, on March 4.
