Arrested on charge of rape
Police have arrested 62 years old Cheggu Lama Tamang of Kispang Rural Municipality-2 on August 14 on charge of raping 16 years old girl.
The victim was raped by the accused on August 13 and on a same day the accused was arrested after the complaint against him was lodged.
Police have also arrested 57 years old Putali Sunar for assisting the accused on raping.
SP Basanta Bahadur Kunwar of DPO said that accused Tamang will be charged under rape and women trafficking. She underwent health checkup at District Hospital of Trishuli on August 14.
