Arrested on charge of rape
Police have arrested 33 years old Sabin Chand of Bheri Municipality-4 on August 1 on charge of raping 13 years old girl.
The victim’s party had lodged complaint at District Police Office against the accused on charge of rape on July 23 and 24.
Similarly, a complaint against 27 years old Rupak Chand of Bheri municipality-4 has been lodged at DPO on charge of rape on 15 years old girl on a same day. Police said that the accused is at large after the incident and search for him is undergoing.
The victim’s party complained that the victim was lured for money and watch before raping in a hotel. Based on a complaint lodged one of the accused Sabin was arrested by the police according to inspector Indrajit Sunar.
The victim’s party also complained that a pressure from the higher level people and politician is being exerted to settle the case.
The victim’s underwent health checkup at Jajarkot district hospital on July 25.
