Arrested on charge of rape
Police have arrested 54 years old Bishnu Bahadur Sharma of Bharatpur Municipality-3 on charge of raping two women from Ganesh Disabled Religious Service Center. The accused Sharma is an operator of the center according to DSP Prabhu Prasad Dhakal of DPO. Both victims had lodged complaint at DPO against the accused on April 20.
The incident was revealed after the victims informed the incident to their neighbor. They said that they could not reveal the incident due to the fear.
After the incident, six children were rescued from the center. The children were rescued by District Administration Office, Women and Children Office and local Mother group after getting the information that disabled children were being sexually exploited by the accused Bishnu Sharma.
