Arrested on charge of intimidating media personnel
Police have arrested 22 years old Tejendra Thapa of Dhangadhi Sub-metropolis-4 on May 5 on charge of beating 23 years old journalist Janak Bista working at Dinesh F.M at Patan Municipality-3.
The victim said that he was thrashed by the accused while he was in the office of principal of Trinagar Secondary School for reporting over the issue of renting Shutter.
The accused was immediately arrested by the police after the complaint against him was lodged at police office by the victim . DSP Dakchya Kumar Basnet of DPO said that he was arrested for investigation.
The victim underwent health checkup at Seti Zonal Hospital on May 5.
