Arrested on charge of gang rape
Police have arrested 28 years old Bakanchu Kewat of Bijayanagar Rural Municipality-7 on September 2 on charge of gang raping on 38 years old pregnant woman. He was one of the accused who was absconding after the incident.
The victim’s husband had lodged complaint at Area Police Office of Krishna Nagar on August 29 against three people on charge of rape on woman who is mentally instable.
After the complaint, police arrested 40 years old Pralhad Kewat of Bijayanagar Rural Municipaity-7 and 42 years old Barsadi Kewat on August 30. Police have made their name public after his arrest.
The victim underwent health checkup at Shiva Raj Hospital on August 29.
