Arrested On Charge of Caste Discrimination
Police have arrested 46-years-old Sushma Khanal of Pokhara Sub-metropolis-5 on August 8 on charge of caste discrimination. She was charged for discriminating Prakash Pariyar who was living in a rented room belonging to Khanal.
The victim had lodged a complaint against her at District Police Office on August 7 for caste discriminating him on July 27.
Pariyar said that he was told to vacate the room by the accused as he was from lower caste. The victim has also requested INSEC regional office and NHRC to provide him a justice.
