Arrested on charge of beating on an allegation of being witch
Police have arrested 27 years old Harisharan Chaulagain of Shuvakali Rural Municipality-4 on October 27 on charge of severely injuring 47 years old Nandakala Chaulagain on an allegation of being witch.
On October 15, the victim was attacked with a sharp weapon by an accused on charge of being witch. She lodged complaint at police post on a same day.
The accused was arrested by the police from Haudi police post and was taken into custody for investigation. The victim sustained head injuries according to the police and undergoing treatment at District Hospital of Kalikot.
