Arrested on charge of attempted rape
Police have arrested a collogue policeman 21 years old Bharat Oli of Bansgadhi Municipaloity-5 on charge of attempting to rape co-worker woman. The accused is working at DPO Kapilvastu.
On October 7, the accused had attempted to rape the woman however the attempt was retaliated by the victim.
The victim said that the accused fled the scene after the retaliation by the victim. Police have however not publicized the incident yet.
The accused has been arrested by the police and by the district court order he is taken into custody for investigation. DSP Rabi Rawal said that the accused has been suspended and complaint against him is registered.
