Accused Arrested for the Attempted Human Trafficking
The police arrested two accused on December 30 for attempting to traffic a 17-year-old girl.
The two accused, Nayankumar Yadav, 28, from Birpur in Supaul district, Bihar, and Ujwal Khadka, 24, from Udaipur, were arrested for allegedly attempting to traffick a 17-year-old girl from Bhantawari in Koshi Rural Municipality-8, Sunsari, to India by luring her with the promise of a good job.
DSP Sumankumar Timsina of the District Police Office stated that the accused was arrested for investigation based on the complaint of the victim.
The health examination of the victim girl was done at the district hospital on December 30.
