Approval of Padam Baidik’s name as a member in Justice Council
Padam Baidik’s name was approved as a member of justice council on a meeting held by a special parliamentary hearing committee on November 3.
Baidek’s name was approved after the hearing as per ministry cabinet’s recommendation said committee’s member Bhanubhakta Dhakal. The justice council is fulfilled after his appointment.
Prior to this, the council has already approved the name of Ram Prasad Sitaula from the recommendation of Nepal Bar Association. There is a provision of being one advocate as a member recommended by Nepal Bar Association and one minister recommended by Supreme Court senior judge and prime minister in the council. The council has chief justice as a council chairman.
