Appeal to Protect the Life of Dr. Govinda KC
Informal Sector Service Centre (INSEC) has requested the government of Nepal to save the life of Dr. Govinda KC, respecting the constitutional obligation of the government to protect the lives of people. Dr. KC has been on a hunger strike for the last 12 days. INSEC has released a press statement requesting the government to take meaningful steps towards the protection of Dr. KCs life.
Dr. KC started his hunger strike from Dhangadhi by demanding seven points including medical reforms. He was admitted to Seti Hospital for treatment due to health problems and now has been brought to the Tribhuwan University Teaching Hospital in Kathmandu for treatment.
‘We strongly demand for a meaningful dialogue with KC to save his life’, mentioned in the statement.
