Anti-election Demonstration by Biplov led Maoist
The cadres of Biplov led Maoist party have organized anti-election demonstration in Shanti-Batika, Kathmandu demanding against the election and parliamentary system.
Party bureau in-charge Santosh Budhamagar while addressing the program accused government of intervening the peaceful demonstration in the district.
He added that today’s demonstration was not intervened by the police as it was monitored and initiated by human rights activists, media personnel.
He added that the parliamentarian system has made the country more unstable. He further demanded for speedy relief to the earthquake victims along with an alternative settlement for them.
The demonstration was monitored by the representative NHRC, INSEC and other rights organizations.
