Amnesty cannot be given to the Conflict Era Cases : Attorney General
The government Attorney General Raman Kumar Shrestha said that amnesty cannot be given to the conflict era related cases at any cost.
He was expressing his views while speaking at the brick laying program organized at Tamghas of Gulmi on September 10. He added that any type of incident that has been defined as a serious crime by the international law will be prosecuted.
He added that former rebels who are in power in present has created suspicion of amnesty, but it is clear that no amnesty will be given to the serious crimes of conflict era cases.
