Accused of Mistreatment Arrested
Police arrested 38-year-old Amrit Budha of the Patarasi Rural Municipality-5 for the charge of mistreating 41-year-old Abhiraj Upadhyaya, the Chief of Education Department of the same Rural Municipality on 21 June. The accused was arrested on June 20 at Shankar Secondary School, Lodchaur, for arguing over the issue of teacher’s examination and misbehaving with Upadhyaya in his workroom.
Chief Upadhyaya filed a complaint at the District Police Office and the District Administration Office on June 21 after the accused mistreated him, attempted to beat him, and threatened to kill him.
Inspector Umesh Chand of the District Police Office said that the alleged accused has been arrested and investigation is going on.
