Alleged Accused Arrested for Statutory Rape
Police arrested 26-year-old Amrit Suhang of Hilihang Rural Municipality-5 on May 18 for the charge of raping a 15-year-old girl.
The aggrieved party filed a complaint against the accused at the District Police Office on May 17, alleging that he had raped the victim on May 13.
Inspector Dibash Kunwar of the District Police Office informed that the investigation regarding the incident is going on after arresting the accused on May 18 based on the complaint filed by the aggrieved party.
The health examination of the victim was done on May 17 at the District Hospital.
