Activities against election code of conduct
The political parties have operated the election campaign against the code of conduct.
Bishnu Koirala of left alliance accused Nepali congress provincial member candidate Ramesh Dhamala of distributing green card and luring them of making houses if vote are casted in favor of him.
Smilarly, provincial member candidate Madhu Shrestha has been accused by left alliance of distributing money to a elderly couple at Dhunibesi Municipality, Chatredeurali on November 7 asking for vote. The left alliance has also publicized the photo of the candidate distributing money. However, the candidate denied the allegation.
Parliamentary candidate Dil Man Pakhrin for constituency number 2 has used chopper to address the election assemblies at Chapthok,Jharlang, Labdung, Sadacheta and Ree against the election code of conduct. Meanwhile, the left alliance candidate has used school for election program at Lapa on November 9.
In every village, candidates are organizing feast at program venue against CoC. While asking about the violation to CDO Shyam Bhandary, he said that action can be taken if complaint lodged with evidence.
Meanwhile, police have arrested Nepal communist party cadres district secretary Mohan Ghale, Cherong Tamang,45 and Tekk Bahadur Tamang of Ruby Valley rural municipality for security reason. They were arrested for possible obstruction during election.
