Accused Sentenced to Nine-months Imprisonment for Sexual Abuse
The District Court sentenced 64-year-old Buddhiraj Nepal of Tansen Municipality-7 to nine-months imprisonment for the crime of sexually abusing a 10-year-old girl.
Registrar Keshav Parajuli of the District Court informed that the bench of Judge Dal Bahadur KC on December 2 decided to sentence the accused to nine months imprisonment along with an order to pay a fine of Rs 15,000 and compensation of Rs 10,000.The aggrieved party filed a complaint at the District Police Office alleging that the accused had sexually abused the victim on February 12, 2023. Nepali was arrested on the same day.
The health examination of the victim was done on February 12 at the Palpa Hospital.
