Accused Rapist Arrested After Five Years
Police have arrested 27-year-old Mangal B.K of Tulsipur Municipality-4, Motipur on September 4 after five years on charge of raping a 14 years old girl.
The accused was absconding after the incident since 2011, July 2. The District Court of Dang had given its verdict on 2012 May 27 to sentence him for eight years with Rs 25,000 compensation after finding him guilty.
DSP Krishna Prasai of Area Police Office said that the arrested accused has been sent to District Court.
