Accused Rapist Arrested
Police have arrested 55 years old Baijnath Chaudhary of Lahan Municipality-18 on June 5 on charge of raping 14 years old girl.
The victim’s party had lodged complaint at police office on June 5 accusing him of raping a girl on June 4.
The victim’s mother said that her daughter was found unconscious near the jungle after rape next day.
The victim girl said that she has been sexually abused by the accused in many other occasions and was threatened for life if revealed.
The victim underwent a treatment at Ram Kumar Uma Prasad memorial hospital on a same day.
The rights activists said that DSP Hira Bahadur Pandey of Rea Police Office of Lahan misbehaved the team of rights activists and media personnel while trying to get information regarding the incident.
