Accused Rapist Arrested
A 15 years old boy has been arrested by the police on September 3 on charge of raping a 10-year-old girl.
DSP Birendra Thapa of District Police Office said that the accused was arrested after the girl revealed about rape while she was under gpoing treatment in the hospital.
The victim, who was seriously injured during rape, was taken to Chimkeshwor Medical at Abukhaireni. She was further taken to District Hospital of Gorkha for treatment and health checkup and further referred to Kathmandu for treatment on August 4. The complaint against the accused has not been received until September 20 by the victim’s party according to the police.
“The incident is under investigation”, said DSP Thapa. The case has been registered against the accused under Children Act-2048 according to the police.
