Accused Rapist Arrested
Police have arrested Dhana Bahadur Pun,33 of Bijauri VDC-9, Chhillikot on August 29 on charge of raping a21-year-old girl.
He was arrested by the police based on a complaint lodged against him two months ago at DPO according to SP Dhiraj Pratap Shah.
The absconding accused was arrested and will be charged under rape Act according to police.
He will also be charged under small arms as police have confiscated one pistol and bullet from him. The victim was threatened with gun before she was raped. She was then pushed from the cliff however relative of the victim had found her in an unconscious state and rushed to the hospital.
She is undergoing treatment at Rapti zonal hospital on June 23 according to police.
