Accused on murdering of infant, Arrested
Police have arrested 21 years old Ramila Rai of Sidin VDC-4 and 28 years old Kiwal Limbu of Phidim Municipality-4 on January 10 on charge of murdering and abandoning newly born infant.
The locals had informed police after finding a dead body of infant in the jungle of Sidin VDC-4 on January 8.The postmortem of the body was done at District Hospital of Panchthar on January 9.
According to DSP Nakul Pokhrel of DPO, both the accused have been arrested for further investigation. DSP Pokhrel said that the infant who was born by illicit relationship might have been abandoned in the jungle.
