Accused on Gang rape arrested
Police have arrested 22 years old Ram Nath Chudhary of Hariharpur VDC-1 and 17 years old boy on October 17 on charge of committing a gang rape on 14 years old girl.
The victim’s parents had lodged a complaint at District Police Office of Saptari on October 16 accusing group of five people committing gang rape on a girl.
Police have arrested two of the accused based on the complaint lodged by the victim’s family however other accused are absconding according to DSP Dan Bahadur Karki of District Police Office.
The victim has accused Rabindra Kumar Chaudhary, 18 of Haripur VDC-1, Manish Rajdhami, 21 of same VDC-2 and one unidentified person of raping her.
The victim underwent a medical checkup at zonal hospital of Rajbiraj and BP Memorial Institute of Health and Science on October 12.
