Accused on Child Marriage Arrested
Police have arrested 32-year-old Prem Prasad Baral of Pumdi Bhumdi-4 from Pokhara on September 5 on charge of marrying 16-year-old girl
The victim’s family had lodged a complaint at police office on September 1 about their missing daughter since August 18. The family knew about the incident after she was found in Pokhara.
Inspector Kamal Bahadur Rajaure of District Police Office said that the investigation is undergoing regarding the incident and those accused will be brought under the legal boundary.
The victim girl has been handed over to her parents whereas the accused has been taken into custody for further investigation.
