Accused on Attempted to rape arrested after four years
Police have arrested 43 years old Nanku Yadav of Bela-6 Khardariya on October 26 on charge of attempted to rape a 20 years old woman.
The complaint against the accused was lodged at Area Police Office of Gadhawa on December 8, 2011 by the victim’s party. Since then the accused was at large according to the police.
He was arrested by the police after four years from his house in Dang district and was handed over to the District Court according to SO Dhiraj Pratap Singh. The victim underwent a health checkup at Primary Health Center of Lamahi on December 9, 2011.
The District Court of Dang had given a verdict to sentence him for two years and six months on June 19, 2012 after finding him guilty.
