Accused of Wife’s Murder Arrested
Police have arrested Lalit Sadaya, 22, of Golbazar Municipality-2on the charge of beating his wife Sarita Sadaya, 20, to death. The accused was arrested on May 28, 2021.
According to Inspector Santosh Rai of the Area Police Office, Golbazar, the victim was beaten to death by the accused at home due to a domestic dispute on May 27.
According to Inspector Rai, the accused was arrested from his house after the locals informed the police on the morning of May 28.
Sarita’s relatives had lodged a complaint against the accused at the Area Police Office, Golbazar on May 28.
The postmortem of the body has been done at Ram Kumar Umaprasad Hospital in Lahan on May 29.
