Accused of Sexual Abuse of Minor Arrested
Police arrested Chura Bahadur Gaha, 59, of Bagnaskali Rural Municipality-3, on May 14, 2023, on the charge of sexual abuse of a seven-year-old girl.
The victim’s father lodged a complaint at the District Police Office, on May 14, accusing Gaha of sexually assaulting the victim on May 14.
The victim’s father said that Gaha allegedly assaulted the girl by seizing an opportunity when she was alone at home.
Senior Sub-Inspector Moti Bahadur Khadka, of the District Police Office said that the police arrested based on the complaint. Further investigation is underway.
The victim underwent a health examination, on May 14, at Paonlpa Hospital.
