Accused of Sexual Abuse of Minor Arrested
On August 10, local law enforcement apprehended Lokte Lama, a 46-year-old resident of Helambu Rural Municipality-1, on charges of allegedly committing sexual abuse against a 10-year-old girl. The incident took place within the confines of Helambu.
Inspector Haribol K.C. provided insights into the case, revealing that the accused had summoned the young victim to his residence on August 3. Subsequently, a formal complaint was lodged with the local police office in Melamchi on August 8.
A medical examination of the victim was conducted on July 23 at the Primary Health Centre situated in Melamchi.
