Accused of Sexual Abuse Arrested
Police arrested 25-year-old Ashish B.K. of Kawasoti Municipality-13 on the charge of sexually abusing a 4-year-old girl. He was arrested on December 24.
On the evening of December 24, the victim filed a complaint with the police saying that the accused B.K. had sexually abused the girl. The police arrested the accused B.K. on December 24 on the basis of the verbal complaint of the victim.
Sai Tikaram Pokharel, Senior Officer of the District Police Office Case Branch, informed that after the written complaint was registered by the victim, the District Police Office through the Public Prosecutor’s Office extended the deadline from the Nawalpur District Court and started further investigation into the incident.
The medical examination of the victim was done on December 24 at Madhyabindu District Hospital, Nawalparasi.
