Accused of Sexual Abuse Arrested
The police arrested a 58-year-old grandfather of Ilam Municipality-3 on August 3, 2022, on the charge of sexually abusing his 32-month-old granddaughter.
The victim filed a complaint against the accused at the District Police Office on August 3, 2022, on the charge of sexually abusing the victim girl on the same day.
Inspector Pradeep Subedi of District Police Office said that the accused was arrested from his house for investigation after the complaint of the victim.
The health examination of the victim girl was conducted at the district hospital on August 3.
