Accused of Sexual Abuse Arrested
Police have arrested Lokman Gurung, 45, of Bardaghat Municipality-5, Paldanda on July 11, 2022, on the charge of sexually abusing a 15-year-old girl.
The victim’s mother has lodged a complaint at the Area Police Office, Bardaghat on July 10 alleging that the accused had abused her.
The victim’s mother said that she had gone to the forest to cut grass and the accused sexually abused her when no one was at home.
According to Inspector Birendra KC, the accused was arrested on the basis of the complaint, and a case of child sexual abuse was registered against him.
The victim has been examined at Prithvichandra District Hospital, Parasi on July 10.
