Accused of Sexual Abuse Arrested
Police have arrested Mahesh Mandal, 38, of Ganga Tole in Mechinagar Municipality-7 on June 12, 2022, on the charge of sexually abusing a 13-year-old girl.
The victim had lodged a complaint at the Area Police Office, Kakadvitta on June 12 accusing the accused of sexually abusing her on June 10. The accused had lured her for NPR 500.
According to DSP Basanta Pathak of the District Police Office, the accused was arrested from his house for investigation on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim.
The girl has been examined at Mechi Hospital on June 12.
