Accused of Sexual Abuse Arrested
Police arrested Kamal Mahat, 35, of Bamruk in Malarani Rural Municipality-7 on May 28, 2022, on the charges of sexually abusing a seven-year-old girl.
According to Inspector Shankar Thapa of the District Police Office, the victim’s mother had lodged a complaint at the District Police Office on May 28 alleging that the accused had sexually abused her on the same day.
Inspector Thapa said that action has been taken against the accused on the basis of the complaint.
The health checkup of the victim was conducted at the District Hospital on May 28.
