Accused of Sexual Abuse Arrested
Chandan Kumar Yadav, 20, of Andupatti in Mithila Bihari Municipality-9 has been arrested on May 20, 2022, on the charge of sexually abusing a five-year-old boy.
The victim has accused Yadav of sexually abusing the boy who went to defecate at 4 pm on May 21.
The victim has sustained serious injuries. The injured child is undergoing treatment at the Provincial Hospital, Janakpur.
According to DSP Pradeep Bahadur Chhetri, the accused was brought to the District Police Office, Dhanusha for investigation.
It is alleged that the victim’s father was beaten after the police arrested the accused. The father of the victim has accused Bindeshwar Yadav’s assistants of beating him saying that the incident should be settled within the village.
The boy’s father has alleged that Raj Kishore Yadav, Puran Yadav and Bhajan Yadav, assistants of the ward chairperson, had beaten him.
The victim’s family also alleged that Chandan Kumar Yadav had sexually abused his son after he denied helping the ward chairperson Bindeshwar Yadav, who was elected as the ward chairperson, had been pressuring him to help him before the election and threatened to commit an unfortunate incident if he lets them down.
