Accused of Rape Sentenced to Seven Years Imprisonment
Sarlahi District Court has sentenced Ram Kishore Yadav, 26, of Kavilasi Municipality-5, to seven years imprisonment for the rape of a 15-year-old girl.
Registrar Bishwanath Aryal of District Court Sarlahi Malangwa informed that the bench of Judge Mr. Kavi Prasad Neupane provided the case’s final verdict by awarding seven years imprisonment to the accused and Rs. 50,000 compensation to the victim.
The victim filed a complaint at the Malangwa District Police Office on 19 August 2021 stating that Yadav had raped the victim girl on 8 August.
The health examination of the victim girl was done on 20 August 2021 at Sarlahi District Hospital Malangwa.
