Accused of Rape of Minor Arrested
Police have arrested Chandresh Kurmi, 20, of Pratappur Rural Municipality-5, Karaihia on the charge of rape of a 17-year-old girl.
The victim filed a complaint at the Local Police Office, Belatari, on 14 March, alleging that the Kurmi had raped the victim on 14 March.
Inspector Prakash Yadav informed that based on the complaint, the accused was arrested from his house and an investigation has started.
The medical examination of the victim was conducted on 14 March at Prithvichandra District Hospital, Parasi.
