Accused of Rape of Minor Arrested
Police arrested Rizwan Khan, 50, a resident of Rampur, Uttar Pradesh, India, currently residing in Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan city-13, Mohanpur on 28 March 2023, on the charge of rape of a seven-year-old girl.
The mother of the victim informed the INSEC representative that she filed a complaint against the accused stating that he lured the victim into his room and raped her.
Sai Mohan Bahadur Singh of the Case Branch of the District Police Office, Kailali said that the accused was arrested from his house based on the complaint filed by the victim.
The victim’s mother said that the medical examination of the victim was conducted on 28 March at Seti Provincial Hospital, Dhangadhi.
