Accused of Rape Attempt Arrested
Police arrested Dinesh Chemjong,23, of Falgunand Rural Municipality-7 on January 2, 2023, on the charge of attempted rape of a 32-year-old woman.
Alleging that the accused tried to rape the victim on December 30, 2022, the victim filed a complaint at the District Police Office on the same day.
Yuvraj Dahal, the police constable of the District Police Office, said that based on the complaint, the accused was arrested from his house for investigation.
The health examination of the victim was conducted at the district hospital on December 31, 2022.
