Accused of Rape Arrested
Police have arrested Tikaraj Katuwal, 27, of Changunarayan Municipality-9 on July 10, 2022, on the charge of raping a 16-year-old girl.
The victim was raped on June 30 at Peaceful Resort of Suryabinayak Municipality-10 and the complaint was filed on July 9 at the Metropolitan Police Circle, Jagati.
The accused was immediately arrested from the resort after receiving the complaint of the victim, shared Inspector Lok Bahadur GC.
Inspector GC further added that a case of rape was filed against the accused on July 11 and has been remanded to custody for investigation.
The health checkup of the victim was conducted at Bhaktapur Hospital on July 10.
