Accused of Rape Arrested
Police have arrested Shere BK, 24, of Thakurbaba Municipality-1 on June 2, 2022, on the charge of raping a 24-year-old woman with a disability.
According to Inspector Hridesh Sapkota, the victim lodged a complaint at the District Police Office on June 1 alleging that the accused had raped the victim May 31.
The accused, who was absconding after the incident, was arrested by a team deployed from Area Police Office, Bagnaha Bhurigaun with the help of Area Police Office, Sadakpur, Bouniya Kailali, June 2.
The victim has been examined at Gulariya Hospital, Bardiya on June 3.
