Accused of Rape Arrested
Police have arrested Aman Miya, 22, of Susta Rural-2, Kudia on May 27, 2022, on the charge of raping a 20-year-old girl.
The victim has lodged a complaint at the Area Police Office, Belatari on May 26 alleging that the accused had raped her.
The accused has been arrested on the basis of the complaint and an investigation is ongoing, said Inspector Nawaraj KC of Area Police Office Belatari.
The victim said that the accused entered her house forcefully at night when she was alone and raped her.
Medical examination of the victim was conducted at Prithvichandra District Hospital on May 26.
