Accused of Rape Arrested
Police have arrested Pradip Malla Thakuri, 28, of Sindhupalchowk Indrawati Rural Municipality-2, on March 14 on the charge of raping a 16-year-old girl on March 13.
The relatives of the victim had lodged a complaint at the Metropolitan Police Circle, Thimi on March 12 alleging that Thakuri had raped the girl while she was asleep. The victim had been working at the restaurant owned by the accused.
According to DSP Narahari Regmi of the Metropolitan Police Circle, Thimi, A case has been filed against the accused on March 15 at Bhaktapur District Court.
The health checkup of the victim was conducted at Bhaktapur Hospital on March 14.
