Accused of Rape Arrested
Police have arrested Bimal Kandel, 24, of Kawasoti Municipality-2 on January 17, 2022 on charges of raping a 14-year-old girl.
The victim was raped on January 1, 2022. DSP Dilip Kumar Giri of the District Police Office Nawalparasi (East Bardaghat Susta East) told INSEC that the victim had lodged a complaint against the accused at the District Police Office Nawalparasi (East Bardaghat Susta East) on January 17.
Police have arrested the accused and are investigating the incident.
The victim has been examined at Bharatpur District Hospital, Chitwan on January 17.
