Accused of Rape Arrested
Police arrested Sandesh Bishwakarma, 19, of Birendranagar Municipality-6, currently residing in Palata Rural Municipality-2 of Kalikot District on 30 March for the charge of raping a 13-year-old girl.
The aggrieved party filed a complaint at the district police office on February 22, alleging that the accused had raped the victim on February 20, 2024.
Inspector Krishna Bahadur Khadka of the District Police Office informed that the accused was arrested from Birendranagar Municipality-6 Bhairabsthan. The investigation regarding the incident has been started with extension of date from the District Court on 31 March
The health examination of the victim was done at the provincial hospital on February 22.
